We have built hundreds of houses, remodeled tons of houses, consulted on developments, as well as designed complete subdivisions. Our staff will listen to your wants and needs providing a complete solution for your residential construction project. With over 100 years combined residential construction experience effectively there isn't a residential construction challenge we have not conquered at one time or another. Jack and Tricia Stevens - Founders
Jack and Tricia started SSCHD, Inc. in the spring of 1997 as a home design business. A year later the opportunity to build a new house came up and SSCHD became a design - build construction company. For over 23 years SSCHD has been designing homes, building new homes, remodeling homes, and has even done a few commercial build-outs. Jack and Tricia have a deep breadth of experience, knowledge, and understanding providing a unique perspective in regard to construction. Both of them have hands on experience in every aspect and facet of the construction process from conceptual design through the final project walk-through. They love what they do and it shows in their work.
Logan Wilson - Project Manger
Logan has been in the project manager role for over 5 years. The majority of Logan's experience is in high end large scale home remodels. This experience has set him up to take on any project thrown at him. What makes Logan stand out is his attention to detail and genuine desire to not only get the job done but get the job done right. You'll see him on your project daily.
Chris Chandler
Chris graduated from Auburn University in May of 2019 with his bachelors degree. While Chris is one of our newest members and has worked with SSCHD as a project manager for the past 5 months, Chris has been working on construction sites since high school and is knowledgeable in all areas of construction. While Chris's experience is impressive, his management skills on the job are what make him a valuable asset to any project. The majority of Chris's experience is in high end home remodels and can adapt to any situation. You will see Chris on your jobsite daily!
Jessica Stevens Chandler
Jessie graduated from Auburn University in December of 2020 with her bachelors degree. Jessie's organizational skills and attention to detail helps SSCHD run smoothly throughout projects when it comes to keeping paperwork straight and helping to keep jobs running smoothly. She also serves as SSCHD in house part-time designer. Jessie's experience stems from growing up with parents in construction work and discovering her passion for helping others create a space that is both beautiful and functional. Jessie has been on job sites since she was baby and began working part time for the company at sixteen years old. Jessie is knowledgeable in construction and can help you with any questions you may have in regards to administrative parts of your project or any design selections, she is here for you!
